This is an archived article - we have removed images and other assets but have left the text unchanged for your reference

In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter, we’re looking at the shape of Christmas to come. Now that pre-Christmas online buying is all but over, except for those last-minute shoppers who’ll be picking up in store or ordering express deliveries, retailers’ attention is turning to Saturday night and Sunday morning and the shoppers who will be buying online this weekend.

Today we also some food for thought this festive season. We bring you insights into Lego’s omnichannel shopping experience, and into Alza’s approach to the UK market, while today’s serving of 2017 retail predictions ranges from mobile to merchandising.

Our guest comment comes from Steve McNicholas of CallCredit on using big data, while we also have guest analysis from Mark Flegg of CSC on the role of SSL certificates in managing risk.
