bol.com offers doorstep pick-up for returns

Marketplace bol.com is allowing customers to have their returns picked up at the doorstep.

Members of the bol.com Select membership programme, which offers free delivery on all products, can have their returns picked up by carrier bpost.

The pick-ups are integrated into bpost’s evening delivery slots between 6PM and 10PM from Monday to Friday.

The service is available in Flanders and Belgian capital Brussels.

Originally Netherlands-based and part of the conglomerate Ahold Delhaize, Bol.com entered the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium in 2010. It announced its expansion into the French-speaking part of Belgium in September last year, with French residents able to shop in their native language from this summer.

Bol.com is facing a new threat in its home market of the Netherlands as Amazon recently opened shop there.
