Wholesale marketplace Faire has launched a new Showroom experience, which it says offers the independent retailers it serves a new way to identify and buy from leading clothing and footwear brands.

Faire says that the new curated experience will offer its customers a new way to find brands base on the quality of their materials and craftsmanship. Brands that are accepted into the Showroom part of the Faire platform can display a badge and show off their wares into a dedicated section of the marketplace.

Faire’s team uses a standardised review process to choose the clothing and footwear brands that are accepted into its showroom. That review covers fabric quality, precise fit and how well an item drapes, as well as the quality of construction.

“From the texture of the fabric to the placement of the seams, independent retailers are known in their communities for sourcing curated and hand-selected products that they know their customers will love,” said Lauren Cooks Levitan, CFO of Faire. “Through this simple and inspiring experience, Faire Showroom empowers our customers to lean into their superpowers and helps to further fuel the growth of entrepreneurs everywhere.

Showroom brands currently include US brand Tradlands and French brand Nitah.

Faire was founded in 2017 with the aim of giving small businesses access to independent brands from around the world. Today more than 70,000 brands sell via the site, which is available in 19 markets around the world including the UK.
