So often retailers just make an app and hope for the best, but Yankee Candle company has given it more thought: it has launched an app to help people find what kind of fragranced candle to buy.

Designed to help identify a person’s perfect fragrance match, or to help you explore gift ideas for friends and family, Yankee Candle’s new Fragrance Finder App helps match the buyer with their perfect fragrance in just four easy steps.

Available via Facebook and the Yankee Candle website, the app takes customers through a series of fun questions that draw upon their lifestyle preferences and personality traits to define their perfect fragrance family match – Fresh, Fruit, Floral, Food & Spice or Festive.

The customer is then presented with four tailored fragrances from their preferred fragrance family and can find out more about the four other fragrance family ranges, as well as shop the full range online or find their nearest stockist.

Each person that completes the questions within the App will be entered into a fantastic prize draw to win a year’s supply of Yankee Candle fragrances.

Yankee Candle is continually developing new ways to understand consumer buying habits, lifestyles and fragrance preferences. The App will be promoted in each of their stores using A4 strut cards and postcards to educate and engage customers on the benefits of using the new ‘Fragrance Finder’ App. A QR code will also be displayed in store to easily direct customers to the Yankee Candle page to complete the App quiz and find their preferred fragrance.
