Co-op extends partnership with Deliveroo to cover 1400 stores

Co-op has extended its partnership with Deliveroo to cover 110 more stores bringing to total of its convenience stores and allowing deliveries of groceries, drinks and more in an hour to 1400.

The two companies have also extended a trial of Deliveroo Signature making Deliveroo’s network of riders available to deliver orders placed directly with Co-op through the Co-op website, as well as on Deliveroo.

Chris Conway, E-Commerce Director at the Co-op, says: “We are delighted to be able to expand our partnership with Deliveroo – as a convenience retailer, the ability to come into stores will always be important to customers, but we also know that shoppers want flexible and convenient options online, and so we are focused on providing what our customers want and need, however and wherever they choose to shop with us.”

Carlo Mocci, Chief Business Officer UK&I at Deliveroo, adds: “Co-op is one of Deliveroo’s largest on-demand grocery partnerships and it continues to be a huge success.”
