The effectiveness of a typical text search engine is hitting its limits. Consumer behaviours are becoming more sophisticated; we’re engaged in more ways than ever before and inspired by more content on different platforms. There’s an evolution happening with Search, aiming to improve consumers’ experience. According to Gartner, retailers can increase digital commerce revenue by at least 30% by adding visual and voice search to their existing search experience. Even more interesting is the possibility of a smarter, integrated, multi-search approach that retailers could use to transform both consumer experiences and retailer revenues.
