MyVoucherCodes takes online discount vouchers offline

MyVoucherCodes has signed up a series of retailers including House of Fraser, Argos, Thomson Holidays, Virgin Experience Days, Red Letter Days, EA Games Store, Thorntons and Focus DIY for a printed discount voucher book it will be mailing to one million UK homes in time for Christmas.

The book will be branded in the same style as the website, which currently receives 9m unique visitors each month and is expected to rise to around 11m during the peak Christmas period.

Advertising opportunities are available in the discount book, along with the company’s more traditional affiliate marketing offering for brands wanting to work alongside MyVoucherCodes, and more than 250,000 requests from consumers wanting to receive a copy of the discount book have already been made.

“Our initial nerves about being the first in our sector to trial such a large scale direct mail and offline campaign have been blown away by the positive reaction from not only consumers but also big name retailers,” says Mark Pearson, managing director of MyVoucherCodes.

“To already have household brands on board like House of Fraser, Thorntons, Argos and EA Games Store speaks volumes about the confidence they have in how successful the discount book will be, and also demonstrates the strength of our brand to both consumers and retailers alike”.
