Maxx Group, a Welsh retailer providing brokerages of personal assets, special bullion services and safety deposit, has become the first retailer in Wales to let customer buy using Bitcoin.
Maxx has introduced FastBitcoins point-of-sale terminals into four of its locations – in Llanelli, Swansea, Bridgend, Cardiff – which will allow it to meet customer demands for a quick, secure and convenient way to buy Bitcoin and spend it on everyday items. Maxx Group becomes the first retailer in Wales to implement Fastbitcoins terminals.
Fastbitcoins continues to build partnerships with merchants globally, empowering them with a way to sell and facilitate Bitcoin transactions. The business offers merchants a number of ways to generate revenues from Bitcoin offerings: the Point-of-Sale terminal which lets merchants print redeemable prepaid Bitcoin vouchers and take Bitcoin payments; and, physical Bitcoin gift vouchers.
