Specialist high street stationer Ryman has chosen E-inbusiness to develop and deploy the next iteration of its website.

The new system is designed to strengthen Ryman’s existing multi-channel proposition and is aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience in order to grow sales across all channels.

The site will be built on E-inbusiness’ eibCommerce platform, combining Microsoft Commerce Server with EPiServer content management and Omniture’s business optimisation suite. It will include call centre and fulfilment modules aimed at streamlining customer service and improving delivery options, plus an enhanced product information management (PIM) module which will be used throughout the business to manage and control the retailer’s extensive product range. Both search and merchandising and analytics will be delivered by Omniture.

“One of our key strategic aims is to leverage our multi-channel offering and allow customers to interact with us in the manner that they choose,” says Kypros Kyprianou, group chief executive at Ryman.

“Our choice of platform partner was highly influenced by two factors; firstly the platform itself had to be current, flexible and scalable to support our key strategic aims and, secondly, the company needed to demonstrate a great track record in both the B2C and B2B online space,” adds Andy Harding , Ryman’s account sales and ecommerce director.
