Shopify has promoted Deann Evans to the position of EMEA managing director.
Currently, Evans holds the position of director of EMEA expansion and partnerships, a position she has held since August 2021.
Prior to Shopify, Evans worked in senior ecommerce positions at global marketplace Ebay, Mettr and Sizmek.

In her new position, she will be responsible for expanding regional growth by supporting and developing merchants and entrepreneurs, growing the partner ecosystem and leading the team culture within Shopify’s EMEA market.
Commenting on her appointment, Evans said: “Shopify is on a mission to make commerce better for everyone, and I’m excited for the challenge of taking on a role that will empower our merchants and partners in EMEA to continue to grow.”
