Fortnum & Mason has introduced an on-demand delivery service, with customers in London able to order hampers, loose leaf teas, and premium biscuits 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
This latest offering, which follows the return of its loyalty programme, will be managed through a partnership with rapid delivery app Zapp.
Liz Darran, chief brand officer, Fortnum & Mason, said: “We are always looking for new ways to bring our products to customers in a way that complements their busy lifestyles. Partnering with leading tech brand Zapp ensures our customers can enjoy their favourite Fortnum’s treats whenever they wish, delivered in minutes, 24/7.”
The luxury department store launched a range of subscription services in July 2024.
Fortnum’s Dispatch offers three subscriptions featuring the retailer’s famous biscuits, teas and jam:
- The Tea Post: This subscription provides customers with monthly refills of their chosen Fortnum’s tea blend for an annual fee of £100. Subscribers will also receive a personalised china mug, tin, and strainer.
- The Biscuit Post: This subscription offers a choice of Fortnum’s popular Toffolossus, Chocolossus, or Gingerlossus biscuits and is available in three, six, or twelve-month plans for £20 per month.
- The Teatime Dispatch: Priced at £75 per month, this subscription includes a selection of tea, biscuits, and a choice of marmalade or jam.
Furthermore, the luxury store reintroduced delivery to the EU with a dedicated website at the end of 2023, having halted the service due to post-Brexit customs challenges.
