Growth 2000 retailer Amara has teamed up with Clipper Logistics to create bespoke, high-end fulfilment for the luxury homewares and accessories e-tailer.
Amara, the luxury homewares and accessories e-tailer, was founded in 2005 and now boasts over 350 aspirational brands. Amara is the UK’s largest online retailer of Missoni Home as well as holding many aspirational collections from brands such as Roberto Cavalli, Ralph Lauren Home and Versace. Amara launched their own label collection, A by Amara, in 2016, which has since become its top selling brand.
Clipper – has been at the forefront of retail and high-value logistics for more than 25 years – began relief operations to support the Amara business in August 2019 to ensure continuity during a period of change. The new operation is now live and is located at one of the Clipper flagship sites in Northampton. To accommodate the operation an additional 140ksqft of operational space was constructed along with the necessary recruitment to support the activity.

Amara, which tops the InternetRetailing Growth 2000 list, recently hit the headlines with the bold move of launching 10 localised websites in different countries. Since the launch of its French and German sites, Amara has planned to mirror its infrastructure and put in place plans to expand across other European markets, the first being Belgium which is due to launch September 2019.
