Shoppers in 24 countries around the world, including the UK, Italy, Germany, France and Spain, will soon be able to instantly buy from the Miss Sixty and Energie online catalogues with just a tap of their smartphone. The brand is the first in the world to simultaneously launch PowaTag across multiple international markets.
The technology allows customers to buy the latest fashions from Miss Sixty and Energie online at www.misssixty.com and www.energie.it, or from the newsletter that will be sent to thousands of subscribers. Sixty eight per cent of all items are abandoned online before the purchase is completed, with long purchase forms as a leading cause of attrition. With PowaTag the brands will be able to reclaim lost sales by letting customers skip lengthy registration forms.
Buying through PowaTag is instantaneous. After downloading the app from the Apple Store or the Google Play Store and registering in minutes, consumers can complete transactions in seconds with pre-stored information, whether buying online, through social media, or scanning ads in print and broadcast with their phone anytime, anywhere.
The partnership marks the next step in Sixty Distribution’s mission to create a multichannel world for its customers after launching its eCommerce site last year. The launch will be followed by the integration of PowaTag in Miss Sixty and Energie physical stores to merge the online and the offline shopping experience.
Sixty Distribution general director, Domenico Gentile explains: “The Sixty Distribution aims to offer a better shopping experience to its customers and the partnership with PowaTag is a great opportunity to become the world’s innovators in the e-shopping industry. We are proud to be the first company in the world to adopt a full integration of PowaTag internationally, which allows us to offer a faster and more exciting shopping experience to our customers around the world”.
Dan Wagner CEO and Founder of Powa Technologies, adds: “The full adoption of our technology by Sixty Group is proof of their great expectations in our solution’s ability to transform the customer experience both online and in-store. Cutting-edge companies like Sixty Distribution have understood the importance of seeking out innovative new approaches for their customers.”
