Retailers can discover the five best ways to use email and social media to recover abandoned shopping baskets in an Internet Retailing-hosted webinar.

Figures show that consumers abandon, on average, 70% of shopping carts and 62% of web forms before they are completed. Reducing that rate can be a powerful way to boost turnover. Email remarketing campaigns can do just that, typically recovering up to 30% – and sometimes more – of abandoned sales.

Just how that works will come under the spotlight at an Internet Retailing-hosted webinar. The expert speakers are Charles Nicholls of seewhy and Richard Evans, of Silverpop. The hour-long webinar will cover the subject in-depth, looking at the five techniques proven to recover abandoned shopping carts and web forms, how to write emails proven to recover shopping cart abandoners. Customer case studies will be presented, while there’ll also be the opportunity to ask questions in a live question and answer discussion.

The event will be held between 2pm and 3pm on November 16 2010.
